Job summary

Pelican Credit Union in Monroe, LA, is hiring a Member Experience Representative to greet members, process routine transactions, and assist with open/close of accounts. The role supports ITM operations and cross-sells Pelican products in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

The position is full-time, with a standard Mon-Fri schedule (8:30 am–5:30 pm) at the Monroe branch. Candidates should have strong communication, problem-solving, and MS Office skills, plus cash handling experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of continuous job experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a financial institution is a plus.
• Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and member service skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PPT.

Responsibilities

• Greet members entering the branch and assist with their financial needs.
• Perform routine transactions: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, check cashing.
• Assist with opening/closing accounts and balance teller drawer at day end.
• Support ITM operations and act as a knowledgeable resource.
• Promote and cross-sell Pelican products and services to fit member needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
