Job summary

Pelican Credit Union in Monroe, LA is seeking a friendly Member Experience Representative to greet members and help with deposits, withdrawals, and everyday banking needs. This front-line role emphasizes outstanding service across in-person, phone, and text channels in a sales-focused environment.

You will balance cash, support ITM operations, open/close accounts, and cross-sell Pelican products. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, plus MS Office proficiency, are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of continuous job experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience within a financial institution is a plus.
• Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and member service skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PPT.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a member experience concierge for members entering the branch and coordinating lobby flow.
• Performing routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
• Assisting members in the opening and closing of accounts.
• Balancing the teller drawer at the end of the day.
• Supporting ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) operations and serving as a knowledgeable resource.
• Promoting and cross-selling Pelican products and services to members to fit their financial needs.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
