Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges is seeking a part-time Call Center/Member Services representative in Livingston, NJ. You will greet members and guests, respond to inquiries, and handle registrations with care to ensure a welcoming experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to use Microsoft Office and YMCA software. A bilingual (Spanish/English) candidate is preferred. Join a mission-driven team dedicated to healthy living and community impact.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; an Associate Degree in Business or related area is a plus.
• Minimum of one year experience in customer service and/or sales preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to travel 10% of the time.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests professionally and cordially on a consistent basis.
• Use Listen First skills during consultations, tours and interactions.
• Answer calls promptly and transfer messages to staff when needed.
• Maintain welcoming atmosphere and promote positive member relations.
• Process registrations and collect fees according to YMCA policies.
