Job summary

Orangeburg County YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Member Services Representative to be the first point of contact for members and guests, offering excellent customer service and assistance with membership inquiries, program registration, and facility access.

The role involves greeting visitors, processing memberships and payments, managing check-ins, and supporting outreach efforts to attract and retain members. Must be flexible to evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and database software.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certificates required within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests and provide information on programs and membership options.
• Assist with membership inquiries, registrations, and processing memberships and payments.
• Manage front desk operations and ensure facility access and sign-in/out procedures.
• Maintain records of transactions and assist with outreach and promotions.
• Support with administrative tasks and report maintenance issues.
