Job summary

YouFit Gyms in Boynton Beach is seeking a Part Time Member Experience Specialist to deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming environment for members and guests. You will greet members, assist with account questions, process check-ins at the front desk, guide tours, promote memberships and services, and help maintain a clean, safe facility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with members, guests, and prospects.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and use approved cleaning products safely and effectively.
• Basic knowledge of facility maintenance, including minor repairs and supply management.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in handling transactions, balancing a cash drawer, and following cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to enforce gym policies professionally and resolve member concerns effectively.
• Basic computer skills for processing check-ins, updating accounts, and managing member interactions.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding member service by creating a welcoming environment.
• Monitor gym access and ensure active accounts.
• Handle member accounts and assist with questions.
• Answer and direct calls to appropriate departments.
• Assist with membership retention and personal training retention.
• Perform opening and closing duties.
• Process payments and manage cash drawer.
• Enforce gym policies and maintain standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of all gym areas and equipment.
• Report safety, facility, or equipment concerns.
• Support events and member appreciation days.
