Job summary

Consumers Credit Union in Mundelein seeks a Branch Specialist to deliver concierge, teller and personal banking support. You will welcome members, guide self-service options, and process transactions with accuracy while opening new accounts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in retail, customer service, sales or cash handling.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Comfortable promoting products in consultative, sales-oriented conversations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members in the branch creating a positive first impression.
• Assist and educate members on self-service options, including ITMs.
• Process transactions accurately and resolve account needs.
• Open new consumer accounts with attention to detail.
• Identify opportunities to connect members with loans and wealth management.
• Suggest improvements to enhance member experience and branch operations.
• Maintain compliance with policies, audits and balancing standards.
