Job summary

You will build relationships, handle inquiries by phone or in person, and ensure timely loan closings with follow-up. This role emphasizes strong service, sales targets, and adherence to credit union standards.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Two to three years of financial institution experience in New Accounts, Sales and Consumer Loan origination.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sales and referral techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develops member relationships by providing high-quality sales and service to each member and works with new and existing members to identify their financial needs, and assists them in the selection of the appropriate financial products and services.
• Resolves member complaints quickly and accurately; responds to member inquiries on the phone and in person.
• Opens new accounts; explains account types and assists with establishing online/mobile banking and related services.
• Originates and funds consumer loans; interviews members and processes loan documents and disclosures.
• Cross-sells Credit Union products and services and promotes loans and other offerings.
• Develops and maintains a follow-up program for expanding multiple account relationships.
• Develops business relationships through on-site events and community networking.
