Job summary

Marine Credit Union is seeking a friendly Member Advocate I to welcome members, answer questions, and guide them toward their financial goals. You will provide in-person service, handle basic transactions, and introduce digital banking tools in a supportive, community-focused environment.

The role values strong communication, problem-solving, and a willingness to learn new systems; bilingual abilities are encouraged, and previous cash handling or banking exposure is a plus.

• Comfort with computers and eagerness to learn new systems.
• Cash handling or banking experience is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Welcome and support members, ensuring every visit is a great experience
• Build genuine relationships and learn about members’ financial goals
• Perform account transactions and assist with digital banking tools
• Basic account opening
• Educate members about products and services that support their financial success
• Make meaningful outreach calls to strengthen member relationships
• Collaborate with a supportive branch team that celebrates shared success
