Job summary

Credit Union of Colorado is seeking a Member Advocate to provide outstanding member service and expert guidance on deposit accounts, consumer loans, mortgage loans, and self-service options. You will open and service accounts, educate members on solutions, and support cross-branch collaboration to ensure the best outcomes.

The role emphasizes a strong member-centric approach, adherence to regulatory requirements, and ongoing development through training.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and six months in financial retail.
• Two to three years of direct retail sales experience and cash handling preferred.
• Able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective member service using knowledge of products and services to find best solutions.
• Open new member accounts and service existing accounts while safeguarding member information.
• Provide deposit, consumer and mortgage loan services and money management assistance.
• Collaborate across branches to deliver best and most appropriate solutions for members.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union programs with accuracy and exemplary service.
• Complete onboarding and maintain a member-centric approach in serving members.
