The YMCA is seeking a part-time Member Service Representative to support member engagement and program promotion at our Barberton location. The role emphasizes welcoming service, relationship building, and accurate record-keeping for memberships and program participation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Relationship skills: welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing, determined
• Communication: efficient verbal and written skills
• Member Service Skills: customer service, sales, or related experience; ability to relate to diverse groups
• Computer Skills: general computer knowledge, typing ability
• Certifications: CPR/AED, First Aid, NSMO within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Welcome members by name, greet and connect with them
• Promote memberships and programs; support member goals
• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants
• Handle membership concerns and resolve issues
• Maintain clean, organized work environment and records in system
