Wayspring seeks an Engagement Specialist to support members enrolled in our program via telephonic outreach, helping them stay connected to care and navigate treatment options. You will build trusted relationships, provide ongoing engagement, and ensure access to clinical services while upholding privacy standards.

Ideal candidates have at least three years in outreach, strong communication skills, and experience with CRM or EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in an outreach role or similar.
• Experience with telephonic outreach is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct text and telephonic outreach to members assigned to their caseload
• Provide educational overviews of Wayspring’s service offerings
• Maintain ongoing engagement with members to support care navigation
• Ensure members are connected to Wayspring clinical services
• Incorporate recovery support themes into engagement
• Review member profiles for SDoH and clinical updates
• Initiate creative strategies to facilitate member contact
• Maintain accountability for engagement metrics and performance targets
• Adhere to Wayspring information security and privacy requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Overview of the Engagement Specialist

As an Engagement Specialist, you’ll work telephonically with members enrolled in our program, helping them stay connected to care through ongoing communication and encouragement. You’ll build trusted relationships over time, offering a steady and friendly presence as members work toward their goals as they navigate substance use disorder (SUD). You’ll support a specific health plan market(s) and use your communication skills to help members feel understood and supported. Responsibilities for the Engagement Specialist

• Successfully contact members and review with them with an educational overview of Wayspring’s service offerings
• Provide on-going engagement to members
• Ensure member’s are connected to Wayspring clinical services
• Incorporate recovery support themes into engagement
• Regularly review member profile for SDoH and clinical updates
• Initiate creative strategies to facilitate member contact
• Maintain performance accountability around member engagement and participation and achieve performance targets
• Adhere to Wayspring information security and privacy requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an outreach role, with preferred experience around telephonic outreach
• Highly organized and detail-oriented and self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability working in a matrixed environment
• The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively is required
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, and effective presentation skills
• Experience with CRM platforms or Electronic Health Record systems is preferred
