Job summary

Wayspring is seeking an Engagement Specialist to telephonically support members enrolled in our program. You will build trusted relationships, provide ongoing engagement, and help members stay connected to care as they navigate SUD.

This role focuses on a remote Kentucky market and requires strong communication, organization, and CRM/EHR familiarity. The position offers a flexible work environment with opportunities to contribute to meaningful health outcomes and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in outreach roles, telephonic outreach preferred.
• Strong communication and persuasive presentation skills required.
• Able to work independently and in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with CRM or EHR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct text and telephonic outreach to members on caseload.
• Provide educational overview of Wayspring services to members.
• Maintain ongoing engagement and ensure connection to clinical services.
• Incorporate recovery support themes into engagement activities.
• Review member profiles for SDoH and clinical updates.
• Develop creative strategies to facilitate member contact.
• Maintain accountability and achieve engagement targets.
• Adhere to Wayspring information security and privacy requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview of the Engagement Specialist

Responsibilities for the Engagement Specialist

• Conduct text and telephonic outreach to members assigned to their caseload
• Successfully contact members and review with them with an educational overview of Wayspring’s service offerings
• Provide on-going engagement to members
• Ensure member’s are connected to Wayspring clinical services
• Incorporate recovery support themes into engagement
• Regularly review member profile for SDoH and clinical updates
• Initiate creative strategies to facilitate member contact
• Maintain performance accountability around member engagement and participation and achieve performance targets
• Adhere to Wayspring information security and privacy requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an outreach role, with preferred experience around telephonic outreach
• Highly organized and detail-oriented and self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability working in a matrixed environment
• The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively is required
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, and effective presentation skills
• Experience with CRM platforms or Electronic Health Record systems is preferred
