Job summary

Abound Credit Union is hiring to support members’ financial needs via phone, mail, or electronic service. You’ll resolve inquiries, review loan applications, and explain terms while promoting Credit Union products. Opening accounts and assisting members daily is also expected.

The role requires basic computer skills, strong customer service, and a collaborative attitude. A high school diploma is required, with additional financial coursework a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to effectively communicate Credit Union products and services.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a willingness to support others on your team.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to proficiently operate a computer, calculator, and copier.
• Customer service experience and specialized financial courses a plus!

Responsibilities

• Answer multi-channel inquiries about loan products and provide member as much resolution as possible.
• Reviews loan applications for accuracy; obtain credit reports, etc. and provide guidance on requested products, services, and financial matters.
• Explains terms and conditions including payment amounts/due dates, and interest rate.
• Promote Credit Union products and services based on member needs.
• Open member accounts, resolve issues, and handle the member’s daily needs.
