Job summary

The Village Health Clubs & Spas is seeking a Membership Engagement Specialist who will be the liaison for member engagement, advise on Village programs, club services and activities, and foster a warm, personalized hospitality experience.

The role requires exceptional customer service, professional communication, and the ability to analyze member usage data, coordinate events, and collaborate with all departments to enhance member satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service by handling member questions and concerns.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Minimum of one year in an office/professional environment.
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Evenings and weekends may be required to attend member events.
• Must maintain a physical presence at the Village location.

Responsibilities

• Attract and retain members by providing excellent service.
• Communicate with members via email, phone, and in person.
• Partner with membership team to reduce cancellations.
• Pull and analyze reports on member usage and engage accordingly.
• Interact with employees, members and guests per Village Standards.
• Collaborate with departments to promote engagement programs.
• Share information about events to boost engagement.
• Build rapport and trust with members and staff.
• Assist in resolving member complaints or concerns.
• Utilize software to monitor new member integration and at-risk members.
