Job summary

YMCA in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Member Engagement Representative to greet members, manage access control, and drive enrollment and program participation. You will guide tours, assist with onboarding, and connect members to programs aligned with their goals, delivering a welcoming and supportive first impression.

You will work with membership and program teams to promote offerings across wellness, aquatics, youth, and community programs, meet sales metrics, and uphold YMCA service standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in sales, customer service, or relationship management.
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry; CRM or membership management software a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with diverse communities in a positive and approachable manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, manage access control, and ensure compliance with YMCA policies.
• Actively engage with members, offering friendly, solution-oriented support connected to YMCA services.
• Assist onboarding of new members, making them feel welcomed and informed about programs.
• Partner with membership and program staff to promote wellness, aquatics, youth, and community programs.
• Conduct tours to showcase facilities and programs with the goal of driving enrollment.
• Promote membership sales by identifying needs and communicating value.
• Meet sales and retention metrics and complete required trainings.
