Job summary

YMCA of Central Florida is seeking a Member Engagement Representative who welcomes members, manages access control, and connects individuals to programs aligned with their goals. The role drives membership growth and ensures a high-quality onboarding experience from day one.

You will proactively promote services, meet sales metrics, and collaborate with staff to engage diverse communities and deliver exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of experience in sales, customer service, or relationship management preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry; CRM experience a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships quickly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper access control procedures and member/guest check-in.
• Engage with members to connect them to YMCA services and programs.
• Support onboarding of new members and promote program participation.
• Connect members to wellness, aquatics, youth, and community offerings.
• Conduct tours to showcase facilities and community impact, driving enrollment.
• Promote membership sales and meet sales targets for acquisition and retention.
• Attend trainings and maintain required certifications and compliance.
