Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Associate to warmly welcome members, answer questions, and promote club offerings. The role requires a friendly, energetic mindset and the ability to handle transactions accurately in a fast-paced gym setting.

You will assist with member needs, maintain a clean facility, and provide excellent customer service during flexible hours. Training will be provided, and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment required or 1-year Fitness experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner with warm hellos and polite goodbyes.
• Anticipate members' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all members.
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service with complete, accurate information.
• Resolve customer concerns using strong communication and problem-solving skills for a pleasant experience.
• Maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift.
• Deliver prompt, accurate service while handling a fast-paced retail environment.
• Handle payments from customers, give change and receipts accurately.
• Promote products, services, and promotions to drive club revenue.
• Answer questions about business procedures and policies in a clear, customer-friendly way.
