Better Health is seeking a Collections Agent to join our Revenue Cycle team. You will contact members with outstanding balances, inactive accounts, and equipment not returned, following established collections workflows.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly by phone, documents every interaction, balances service with revenue recovery, and handles sensitive conversations professionally.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Experience in collections, healthcare, billing or related roles preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact members with 61+ day balances to collect past-due amounts.
• Work assigned accounts following established collections workflow.
• Explain balances, payment expectations, and resolution options clearly.
• Escalate accounts when additional review is needed.
• Document every interaction, payment, and status in the system.
• Follow up on equipment returns and apply non-return charges as needed.
