Job summary

Suffolk Credit Union is seeking a Personal Banker II to deliver exceptional service to members and strengthen relationships through trust, accuracy, and confidentiality.

You will educate members on Credit Union products, pursue cross-sell opportunities across lending and wealth management, support branch teams, and help meet departmental goals while promoting financial wellness in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of customer service experience, preferably in banking.
• Notary license required or to be obtained within three months of hire.
• NMLS-ID (Mortgage Loan Originator) required and provided at hire if not already.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to current and prospective members.
• Educate members on products, services and benefits and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Resolve member requests, complaints, and issues promptly and accurately.
• Build and deepen member relationships and generate referral opportunities.
• Process transactions accurately while maintaining confidentiality.
• Assist with new member onboarding and account maintenance.
