Job summary

Westerra Credit Union is opening a brand-new Lafayette branch and seeks a Personal Banker to deliver exceptional member service. The role blends teller transactions with coaching members on using digital banking and servicing accounts, while building relationships to grow the business.

You will join a team launching a new location, driving member engagement and helping clients achieve their financial goals through proactive advice and tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of consumer lending or consultative sales experience
• Banking or credit union experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Build and grow member relationships through questions and proactive outreach
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals while delivering excellent service
• Educate members on Westerra products and digital solutions
• Identify opportunities to save members money and present solutions
• Conduct outbound calls to drive sales and retain members
• Assist with transactional needs per established procedures
• Represent Westerra at community events
• Adhere to policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct
• Obtain NMLS registration within 30 days of hire
• Obtain notary certification within 6 months if not already held
• Other duties as assigned
