Job summary

Westerra Credit Union is seeking a USR to provide exceptional member service from the branch. The role blends teller transactions with relationship-building and basic loan originations, in a dynamic, member-centric environment.

You will meet and exceed monthly sales goals while maintaining outstanding service, learning Westerra products, and guiding members to digital solutions. This onsite role includes notary duties and community involvement as part of our mission.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Cash handling experience.
• Strong sales and referral disposition.

Responsibilities

• Assists members with transactional needs according to established processes and service standards, including answering member inquiries and issue resolution.
• Consistently meets and/or exceeds monthly sales goals while maintaining stellar service and member experience levels.
• Build and grow relationships with members by asking questions to learn about their financial needs, understanding their goals, and sharing how Westerra can help them by following up through proactive outreach, phone or in-person visits
• Maintains knowledge of products and services and educates members on emerging technology and digital solutions such as mobile, online, ATM and other offerings.
• Recognizes opportunities to save members money and presents solutions to members.
• Delivers results related to individual and branch sales goals and member service expectations.
• Represents Westerra at community and business development events
• Consistently demonstrates the Westerra Way Experience and complies with all policies, procedures and Federal and State laws and regulations.
• Maintains high-level of confidentiality
• Obtains and maintains notary public certification within six months of employment (if not already certified) to perform notarial acts such as verifying signatures, administering oaths, and certifying document
• Other duties as assigned
