Job summary

Suncoast Credit Union is seeking a Branch Customer Representative (Member Advocate) to deliver exceptional member service at our branch locations. You will perform teller transactions, advise on financial products, and help members achieve their financial goals while upholding confidentiality.

The role emphasizes customer service and cross-selling across Suncoast products, with incentives and a clear path for skill progression in a friendly team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience with a financial institution or similar customer service role.
• General math proficiency to balance cash drawer, audit own work, and reconcile accounts.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members to the branch, providing excellent service.
• Identify ways to improve members' financial life.
• Advise members about Suncoast Credit Union products and services.
• Provide answers to members’ questions and resolve issues.
• Conduct teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.
• Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate teller records.
