Suncoast Credit Union is seeking a Branch Customer Representative (Member Advocate) in Florida to provide exceptional member service and handle teller transactions. This part-time role (35-38 hours) offers benefits and a starting pay of $20.00 per hour with incentive raises for learning key skills.

The position requires greeting members, promoting products, balancing cash, opening deposits, and maintaining confidentiality while building relationships across branch locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience at a financial institution or similar customer service role.
• General math proficiency to balance cash drawer and reconcile accounts.
• Strong written and verbal communication with confidentiality handling.
• Ability to interact professionally with members and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members, delivering excellent service.
• Identify ways to improve members' financial life.
• Advise members about Suncoast products and services.
• Provide answers to member questions.
• Resolve member issues by gathering data and reporting results.
• Process teller transactions: deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and more.
• Assess membership eligibility by interviewing applicants.
• Maintain knowledge of Suncoast products and benefits.
• Open deposit accounts and perform account changes.
• Balance cash drawer and ensure proper cash handling.
• Verify deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Obtain proper identification and endorsements.
• Adhere to teller policy and cash drawer limits.
• Support ATM, night drop, and coin/cdm operations.
