Job summary

Qualifications

• Two year college degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Material Science plus 4–6 years in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with steel manufacturing methods and heavy mill machinery is preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, additional years of manufacturing experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to create a productive, high-performing, safety-conscious environment.
• Standardize processes within Melt Shop; perform needs assessments and audits.
• Coach production/quality improvement programs and implement ITS training and 5S.
• Develop and implement cost and environmental control goals; manage preventive maintenance and safety management processes.
