Charter Casting in Shawano, WI is hiring Melt Deck Operators for 1st or 3rd shift (12-hour) with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Pay starts at $24.75/hr, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits. 2 positions available at 2900 E Richmond St, Shawano, WI 54166.

Qualifications

• 1 year prior experience in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field.

• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60 lbs.
• Basic math and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport melting materials and supplies; Operate melting furnace charging equipment.
• Learn to operate the melting furnaces.
• Transport melting materials and supplies from the warehouse or other locations to the melt deck.
• Remove full slag hoppers from the melt deck and transport to commercial refuse containers.
• Responsible for own safety and the safety of others in the area.

Job Summary
