Job summary

Responsibilities

• Back up to Department Manager and work opposite shift to Manager
• Assist with department work schedules
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws
• Assist with inventory control; load, unload, and move product
• Train Partners; direct work; address complaints; support production plans and execution
• Assist in all technical areas as needed
• Perform Representative / Specialist duties as needed
• Provide coaching on superior customer service
• Take orders from customers by phone or in person
• Answer customer questions regarding products and help with selections
• Use suggestive selling techniques and product knowledge to meet customer needs and boost department sales
• Merchandise products effectively
• Slice, package, label, rotate, and Cull products for quality
• Comply with department and store operating procedures
• Clean and sanitize sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment

Food Safety

• Slices, packages, labels, rotates, and culls products for poor quality
• Complies with department / Store operating procedures
• Cleans / sanitizes sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment
