Job summary

Evolutionary Events Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to run end-to-end event delivery from proposal to onsite execution in Tampa. You will partner with the Account Executive team and clients, coordinating with venues, vendors, and internal teams to ensure flawless programs.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5+ years in event PM or planning, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to manage multiple programs and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a Project Manager, Event Planner, or similar role, DMC/hotel background preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of onsite event management experience.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, A/V, F&B, site selection, and contract negotiation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and competing deadlines.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel, including weekends, for onsite program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution for corporate events including incentives, tradeshows, conferences, sales meetings, and customer experiences.
• Serve as the primary client liaison on assigned programs with high-touch communication.
• Build detailed project timelines, budgets, and meeting specs for every program.
• Research and secure venues and vendors; manage proposals, site inspections, and contracts.
• Manage attendee registration, communications, and event platforms.
• Lead weekly project team meetings and oversee all logistical planning from A/V to F&B to transportation.
• Direct onsite teams, troubleshoot issues and ensure quality control throughout each program.
• Prepare final billing and complete full budget reconciliation for each event.
• Juggle multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities without dropping details.

Position Summary

We're looking for a Project Manager who thrives on juggling multiple priorities at once and genuinely enjoys the pace of the events industry. This is a hands-on, in-person role based in our Tampa office, ideal for someone with a background in DMC, hotel, or event/meeting planning who is proactive, resourceful, and driven to grow. You'll own event execution end-to-end — from proposal through onsite delivery and final reconciliation — while partnering closely with our Account Executive team and clients.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Event Planner, or similar role — DMC, hotel conference services, or third-party planning background strongly preferred
• At least 2-3 years of hands-on onsite event management experience
• Strong working knowledge of hotel operations, A/V production, F&B planning, site selection, and contract negotiation
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and complex, competing deadlines simultaneously
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, plus proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint)
• A proactive, go-getter attitude — someone who spots what needs to happen next and takes initiative without being asked
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail
• A true team player who brings a positive, collaborative energy and strong customer-service instincts
• Ability to work independently, stay flexible, and make sound decisions quickly under pressure
• Willingness to travel, including occasional weekends, for onsite program delivery
