Job summary

Ottawa Area ISD is seeking a Manufacturing and Engineering Program Trainer to lead MEERA program expansion and provide high-quality professional development to K-12 educators. The role focuses on equipping teachers with advanced curriculum and industry-aligned technology integration to strengthen CTE pipelines across OAISD.

Working with the CEPD Administrator, the Trainer Coach will align classroom instruction with modern industry standards and drive regional growth in manufacturing,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
Experience teaching or providing instructional support; familiarity with advanced manufacturing equipment (CNC, robotics, 3D printing).
Willingness to travel regionally to schools and events.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver MEERA professional development programs.
Coach educators on MEERA curriculum and use of K-5 STEM kits.
Foster collaborative learning and share best practices for manufacturing/engineering concepts.
Support curriculum delivery through classroom observations and teacher feedback.
