Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Service Innovation Engineer for Santa Clara, CA. You will serve as the technical liaison across Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing, supporting new product development and lifecycle management.

You will develop service tooling, train teams, and produce technical bulletins and documentation. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/CS, 4+ years in a related role in regulated industries, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a combination of equivalent work experience, education and training.
• 4+ years of experience in Field Service, Technical Support, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Support Engineering, R&D, or related role.
• Experience in a regulated industry (Medical Device or Aerospace) is preferred.
• Experience with Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex problems into manageable tasks with measurable requirements.
• Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-starter capable of working with little supervision and driving projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison between Engineering/Quality/Manufacturing and internal/external Service Solutions teams.
• Lead new product development, install base sustaining, lifecycle and change management, and service training.
• Provide technical support escalation and develop service bulletins and documentation.
• Develop programs using feedback to reduce customer downtime and improve serviceability.
• Monitor service data to drive design improvements and maintain knowledge base articles.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners for effective troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems.
