Job summary

KARL STORZ North America is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Sacramento, CA market and drive growth across hospitals, surgery centers, and physician offices. You will participate in product evaluations, trials, and installations, and work closely with Sales Executives to win new business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in medical device sales or healthcare-related industries.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of hospital call points (Operating Room, Bio-Med, Central Processing Departments).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 90% of the time and maintain hospital credentialing standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by supporting product evaluations, demonstrations, trials, and installations.
• Partner with Sales Executives to develop strategies for winning new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Provide clinical and technical support in customer environments, including operating rooms and surgical centers.
• Build trusted relationships with surgeons, nurses, sterile processing teams, materials management, and hospital leadership.
• Educate customers on product usage, care, troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Support service, repair, pricing, and order-related customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, credentialing requirements, and product knowledge.
