Job summary

Ceribell seeks an R&D Strategy & Operations Manager to join the Office of the CTO. Partner with the CTO and Chief of Staff to drive execution of key R&D initiatives, and to ensure cross-functional collaboration and clear prioritization.

The role requires a PhD in a technical field and experience with medical devices, plus strategic consulting or MedTech operations. You will develop trackers and dashboards, perform analyses, and manage high-impact projects with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• PhD required in a technical field.
• Experience with medical devices is highly preferred.
• Preferred experience with strategic consulting or business strategy and operations with exposure to MedTech product management.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to independently conduct product research, including literature review, customer interview, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessment.
• Ability to bring structure to complex and ambiguous questions, and to create/e execute frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic analyses to support technology and operational decision-making (roadmapping, capacity planning, process improvement).
• Prepare presentations, reports, and briefs for the CTO and leadership team.
• Drive execution of priority R&D and technology initiatives across multiple functions.
• Own trackers, dashboards, and status updates to keep projects on schedule.
• Identify risks and dependencies and escalate appropriately.
• Lead or support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives in R&D, technology, operations, and external relations.
• Conduct research and benchmarking to inform decision-making.
