Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Vision in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a Manager of Production Planning to oversee scheduling, materials planning, and cross-functional execution. This fully on-site role supports IOL manufacturing activities and collaborates with multiple functions to optimize resources and meet production targets.

Responsibilities include leading schedules, coordinating with suppliers, and driving S&OP processes while developing the team and aligning with Credo leadership imperatives.

Qualifications

• Higher Learning Education (BS preferred in Engineering, Operations, Logistics or Business Administration) or equivalent required.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in production planning, inventory management, supply network planning, demand management, capacity planning and/or Supply Chain
• Experience in Supply Chain management related to production activities with a technical, scientific, pharmaceutical/medical device background, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Leads the planning and preparation of production schedules for manufacturing.
• Plans, monitors and consolidates material demand for suppliers.
• Participates in discussions with key functional partners on business scenario reviews and provides input for strategic projects.
• Develops actionable insights from analyses of trends and the competitive landscape to improve production strategy.
• Supports the analysis of production specifications, plant capacity data to establish efficient manufacturing processes, materials, personnel, and tools.
• Leads the S&OP process to connect demand, capacity and total operating plan.
• Monitors production performance for adherence to build plans and enables enhanced planning capabilities.
• Participates in new product launch meetings and forecasts to adjust capacity.
• Coaches and trains junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
