Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manager of Planning – External Operations to lead planning across external manufacturing partners for DePuy Synthes. The role bases at multiple U.S. locations and requires collaboration across global teams to meet service levels and optimize inventory.

The candidate will apply advanced planning methods, drive continuous improvement, and lead initiatives including S&OP, capacity planning, and new product introductions while navigating a complex matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required in a related field.
• MBA is preferred for advanced planning leadership.
• 8+ years in Demand/Supply Planning or SCM roles with proven cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead External Operations planning activities for a product portfolio to meet service levels and global inventory targets.
• Drive service, inventory and agility across external supply chains and manage product flow from external manufacturers to the J&J distribution network.
• Use data to drive continuous improvement of supply chain processes and establish capacity and supply plans.
• Develop and execute a capacity and supply planning strategy to improve overall performance and KPIs.
• Oversee control tower management, STEM, inventory management and new product launch planning.
• Coordinate with multiple teams and partners to rationalize demand with global capacity.
