IDE Group is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor in Philadelphia to lead our production floor and grow into a key operational role. You’ll plan, direct, and improve daily manufacturing activities from assembly to quality systems, while building supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with GMP and client requirements.

You’ll work on the floor with your team, reading drawings, managing work instructions, and driving Lean initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Experience coordinating people and resources in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfort reading engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Practical experience with assembly tools, hand tools, and production/test equipment.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and documentation practices.
• Bonus: exposure to medical device regulations (GMP, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, ISO 2859).
• Solid Excel skills for tracking data and production metrics.

Aufgaben

• Running the production line day-to-day planning activities, coordinating operators, and keeping on track for quality, budget, and schedule.
• Jumping in on assembly and manufacturing tasks alongside the team when needed.
• Owning paperwork: work instructions, engineering drawings, ECRs, DMRs, DHRs, and other manufacturing docs.
• Running meetings with cross-functional teams, reporting progress, and flagging issues.
• Championing quality to meet IDE's QMS, GMP, and client requirements.
• Driving continuous improvement with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives.
• Managing supplier relationships to keep the supply chain reliable.
