Job summary

Instant Systems is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead shift operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will ensure production targets are met, coordinate with planning and maintenance, and enforce quality systems across the line.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of regulated-manufacturing experience or 7+ years in lieu of a degree, plus hands-on cleanroom exposure and strong problem-solving skills. Competitive benefits and a mission-driven team await.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of post-graduate regulated-manufacturing experience or 7+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Leadership experience leading hourly teams of 10+ employees.
• Working knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and cGMP/Good Documentation Practices.
• Experience with NCRs, deviations and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Achieve production targets and drive shift results.
• Plan and run the shift production schedule to meet daily, weekly and monthly output.
• Assign operators to lines and workstations (film welding/RF and impulse sealing, tubing cutting and assembly, labeling, packaging).
• Monitor line performance, throughput, scrap and downtime in real time; act on deviations from plan.
• Coordinate with Planning, Materials, Warehouse and Maintenance on material availability and equipment readiness.
• Verify line clearance before every lot and product changeover to prevent mix-ups.
• Lead or participate in audits and inspections; support process validation and change control.
