Job summary

BD in El Paso, TX seeks an Electro/Mechatronic maintenance technician to support medical device manufacturing. You will respond to equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure machines stay reliable. This role requires hands-on problem solving and strong safety adherence.

You will work on-site, collaborate with Sr. Mechanics, and contribute ideas for equipment improvements while maintaining a clean, safe work area consistent with EH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment checks.
• Strong understanding of PLCs, pneumatics and hydraulics is preferred.
• 2 years in a similar maintenance role is preferred.
• Safety and hygiene procedures, LOTO compliance.

Responsibilities

• Attend calls when equipment has problems or is down.
• Verify machines are ready and in good condition for operation.
• Follow preventive maintenance programs as per production equipment.
• Record preventive maintenance accurately.
• Keep area clean and orderly.
• Have tools ready for calls.
• Suggest improvements to equipment.
• Coordinate with mechanics during shift changes.
• Follow EH&S and LOTO procedures.
