Job summary

BD in USA CT is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams through high-speed manufacturing projects. You will manage planning, budgeting, risk, and regulatory alignment while driving timely launches and successful closeouts.

The role requires a BS-Engineering with 2+ years in manufacturing PM roles, and PMP or Six Sigma credentials are a plus. On-site presence is emphasized in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• BS-Engineering in Packaging, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 years experience as a Project Manager or Project Leader in high speed/high volume manufacturing.
• Proven experience as a multi-functional Team Lead or Member.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality.
• Drive project execution balancing technical, regulatory, operational, and business requirements.
• Ensure smooth transition of new products, processes, or equipment into manufacturing and commercialization.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, commercialization and other functions to align goals.
• Own end-to-end project management including planning, launch, tracking and risk management.
• Provide leadership and coaching for cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Apply advanced problem-solving methods to resolve issues through the lifecycle.
• Monitor budgets and timelines and communicate risks to prevent delays and cost overruns.
• Develop project protocols and engineering justifications using sound methods.
• Support equipment implementation through turnkey validation protocols and closeout.
