As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance, handle batteries for material handling equipment, and respond to issues with urgency while coordinating with supervisors and other warehouse teams. Flexibility for off-shift work and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general facility maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds, as required.
• Maintain MHE batteries, as required.
• Uses judgment to plan, perform, troubleshoot, and problem solve in performance of all maintenance tasks.
• May be required to work on off shift and/or weekends, and must be available for call in activity.
• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.
