Job summary

IQVIA MedTech is seeking a Part-time Field Service Software Technician in the Central Time Zone, based in Dallas. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and updating medical devices in hospitals nationwide, with on-site team support and a flexible schedule.

You will install and configure hardware, software, and network products, manage equipment setups, and document test results. Prior field experience and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related technical experience required.
• 3+ years’ experience in field technical role with focus on both hardware and software installations preferred.
• Experience in field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT is preferred.
• Prior military veterans with electronics/maintenance/IT MOS encouraged to apply.
• Professional business acumen including communication and soft skills required.

Responsibilities

• Organizing, testing, and updating medical devices, installing, and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
• Set-up and organization of equipment and workstations.
• Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation and configuration.
