Job summary

IQVIA MedTech is seeking a field-based technician to travel to hospitals and perform software upgrades for automated medication dispensing devices. You will install, configure, and update medical devices and networking systems, ensuring proper operation after setup.

The role requires troubleshooting, calibration adherence, and educating healthcare staff on device use. Extensive travel is expected, with assignments Monday–Friday and 28–32 hours per week, including some nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel extensively for field-based service assignments.
• Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, and updates for medical devices, software, and networking systems.
• Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.
• Troubleshoot device and network issues, resolving technical problems independently or escalating complex cases.
• Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment.
• Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.
• Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
