Job summary

IQVIA MedTech field technician role involves traveling to hospitals to upgrade automated medication dispensing devices and service medical IT systems. You will install, configure, and update devices, perform post-install checks, and troubleshoot issues on-site.

Open availability Monday–Friday with 28–32 hours per week and travel. Some night/weekend work may be required; credentialing and immunization requirements apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years in a field technician role preferred.
• Associate degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or related field preferred.
• Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, and updates for medical devices, software, and networking systems.
• Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.
• Troubleshoot device and network issues, resolving technical problems independently or escalating complex cases.
• Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment
• Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.
• Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.
