Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a MedTech Field Service Software Technician to operate in the Central Time Zone. This part-time, field-based role covers the United States and requires traveling to hospitals with an on-site team.

Expect a flexible schedule and opportunities to expand into new medical device initiatives. The position emphasizes troubleshooting, repairing, and updating medical devices, with responsibilities including hardware/software installation, equipment setup, and data recording for tests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related technical experience required.
• 3+ years in field technical role preferred.
• Experience in field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit/stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Organize, test, and update medical devices, install and configure hardware, software, and network products.
• Set up and organize equipment and workstations.
• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Manage project timelines and customer needs.
