Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Danvers, MA is seeking a Beatbox Electrical Engineering Co-op to join our Engineering team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in schematic design, PCB development, system integration, prototype testing, and troubleshooting under experienced engineers.

The program runs Jan 11, 2027 to June 25, 2027. Candidates pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering are encouraged to apply; CPT/OPT status may apply.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Fundamentals of analog and digital electronics required.
• Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design tools preferred.
• Experience with lab equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and evaluation of analog and digital circuits.
• Support PCB schematic capture, layout reviews, and component selection.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot hardware prototypes and samples.
• Perform laboratory testing, data collection, and analysis.
• Create engineering documentation, test reports, BOMs, and specs.
• Contribute to hardware verification and regulatory testing activities.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Participate in design reviews and problem-solving sessions.
