Openwork Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Surgical to join our staffing team in Nashville. You will provide direct patient care in MedSurg, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop individualized care plans while adhering to healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Experience in Medical Surgical (MedSurg) nursing preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required by some facilities.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Document care and progress according to facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Respond to changes in patient conditions with appropriate interventions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
