RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Care Technician (CCT) for the Medical Surgical Unit. This hourly, evening shift role supports Registered Nurses with hands-on patient care, vital signs, and daily living activities. Emphasis on safety, empathy, and teamwork to improve patient comfort and outcomes.

You will assist with monitoring, documentation in the EHR, and collaboration with the care team, contributing to a path of continuous learning and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Previous nursing assistant experience or CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vital signs, activities of daily living, and bedside care including bathing, mouth care, and skin care.
• Monitor vital signs and document in EHR.
• Support RNs by following care plans and ensuring patient safety.
• Apply BLS skills in emergency situations when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and coordinate with care team.
