Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Care Technician (CCT) to join the Medical-Surgical Unit-I team on the night shift. The role supports Registered Nurses with vital signs, mobility, and personal care, ensuring safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The CCT will document in the EHR, follow infection control protocols, and collaborate with clinicians to monitor and execute care plans, contributing to positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Previous nursing assistant experience or CNA certification preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vital signs, mobility, personal care, and bedside support.
• Support RNs by monitoring conditions and carrying out care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the EHR with confidentiality.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe patient environment.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care.
• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR when needed in acute situations.
• Contribute to patient plan of care from admission to discharge.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure safe patient outcomes.
