Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Previous nursing assistant experience or CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, bedside care.
• Monitor vital signs and track patient health status.
• Document patient information in the EHR while maintaining confidentiality.
• Follow infection control protocols to keep patients safe.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Provide BLS support including CPR when needed.
• Support patient care appropriate to age and needs.
• Collaborate on patient care plans from admission to discharge.
