Job summary

MedSpeed in Silver Spring is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver for part-time hours, primarily Mondays and Tuesdays, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with flexibility to start or end +/- an hour. You will drive a company vehicle, transport lab specimens and medical materials, and support daily healthcare logistics operations.

The role emphasizes reliable service, safety, and professional interaction with clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
• Operate a handheld scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items and conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Demonstrate safe driving behavior and adapt to varying routes and schedules.
• Work as part of a collaborative MedSpeed team and support client needs.
