Calibr-Skaggs Institute for Innovative Medicines, a division of Scripps Research, seeks a Research Scientist in California to design and synthesize novel compounds for drug discovery across multiple targets and diseases.

The role supports hit assessment to IND-enabling studies, with emphasis on analytical characterization and formulation for various administration routes. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field required.
• PhD is highly preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years’ industry experience.
• Impeccable attention to detail and hands-on experimentation.
• Ability to collaborate, communicate effectively and maintain documentation.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with Calibr scientists on lab-scale synthesis, analytics, and formulation development.
• Support preclinical drug discovery programs by delivering high-quality compounds.
• Apply crystallization, filtration, and chromatography techniques and analytical methods.
• Prepare technical reports, patent content, publications and presentations as needed.
