Job summary

The Ivy Castle Rock is a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group. The Medication Technician is responsible for supervising and assisting in the administration of medications to residents, providing direct personal care, and supporting activities while coordinating with pharmacy and physicians.

Applicants should have 1 year of medication assistance experience in RCFE or similar setting, be 18+, and able to pass background and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with medication in aRCFE or similar setting preferred.
• Ability to pass background and health screenings is required.
• Must be 18 years or older and capable of following policies.
• May require state certification training per regulation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain confidential medication and care records.
• Keep a safe environment following safety standards.
• Collaborate with co-workers and other departments.
